Die ben\u00f6tigte Wassermenge h\u00e4ngt stark von den Witterungsbedingungen ab. Bei normaler trockener Witterung reicht eine Wassermenge von 20-30 m\u00b3 pro Tag aus. Das entspricht in etwa einem Prozent der Wassermenge eines olympischen Schwimmbeckens. An sehr hei\u00dfen und sonnigen Tagen trocknet die Fahrbahn schneller ab und wir m\u00fcssen h\u00e4ufiger bew\u00e4ssern, so dass die Wassermenge dann auch auf 40\u201360 m\u00b3 ansteigen kann. Das verwendete Wasser stammt aus unserer bestehenden, werkseigenen Wasserversorgung .

Der Umfang und die durchzuf\u00fchrenden Ma\u00dfnahmen der Renaturierung werden im Rahmen des Genehmigungsverfahrens festgelegt und als verbindliche Auflage der erteilten Genehmigung dem Unternehmen auferlegt. <\/p>\n

Zur Absicherung dieser Auflagen m\u00fcssen B\u00fcrgschaften bei Banken hinterlegt werden, um auch f\u00fcr den Fall einer Insolvenz sicherzustellen, dass die Auflagen zur Renaturierung erf\u00fcllt werden. Zus\u00e4tzlich bildet das Unternehmen w\u00e4hrend der Dauer des Abbaubetriebs R\u00fccklagen f\u00fcr die Renaturierung, die dann gegen die tats\u00e4chlich anfallenden Kosten, die Teil der normalen Betriebsausgaben sind, aufgel\u00f6st werden. Die H\u00f6he der B\u00fcrgschaften und auch die H\u00f6he der zu bildenden R\u00fccklagen sind gesetzlich geregelt und orientieren sich an den zu erwartenden Gesamtkosten zur Renaturierung gem\u00e4\u00df den Auflagen aus der Genehmigung. <\/p>\n

Die Renaturierung erfolgt schrittweise in Abh\u00e4ngigkeit zum Abbaufortschritt. Bereits w\u00e4hrend des laufenden Abbaubetriebs erfolgt diese in den Bereichen, in denen die Abbaugrenzen erreicht sind, d.h. im Bereich der B\u00f6schungen und teilweise auf den obersten Sohlen schon nach wenigen Jahren. <\/p>\n

Im Fall eines Verkaufs eines einzelnen Standorts oder des gesamten Unternehmens bleiben die Auflagen unver\u00e4ndert bestehen und gehen als Verpflichtungen, die untrennbar mit der Betriebsgenehmigung verbunden sind, auf den neuen Eigent\u00fcmer \u00fcber. Wird der Betrieb und damit auch der Steinbruchbetrieb eingestellt, sind die Auflagen zur Renaturierung, die \u00fcber Bankb\u00fcrgschaften abgesichert sind, trotzdem umzusetzen. Diese Energie erzeugt auch Ersch\u00fctterungen. Da das Verluste sind, versucht man diese gering zu halten, d.h. m\u00f6glichst wenig Sprengstoff pro Z\u00fcndzeitstufe einzusetzen. Es wird nur so viel Sprengstoff eingesetzt, wie n\u00f6tig ist. Hier sind das ca. 80kg pro Bohrloch. Die Anzahl der Bohrl\u00f6cher h\u00e4ngt von der Qualit\u00e4t und der aktuellen Steinbruch Geometrie ab und schwankt zwischen 10 und 40. Das entspricht 800-3.200kg pro Sprengung. Die Ersch\u00fctterungen h\u00e4ngen nur von der Menge Sprengstoff je Bohrloch ab und nicht von der Gesamtmenge, wie h\u00e4ufig angenommen.

Auf den B\u00fcrgerversammlungen, die im Februar und im August 2018 stattgefunden haben, und auch in nachfolgenden Gespr\u00e4chen ist eins der gro\u00dfen Themen der Anwohner die zu erwartende L\u00e4rmintensit\u00e4t. <\/span><\/div>\n

Auch wenn ein F\u00f6rderband technisch problemlos m\u00f6glich ist, haben wir uns f\u00fcr den Transport \u00fcber eine Werkstra\u00dfe entschieden. <\/span><\/div>\n
Kalksteine k\u00f6nnen nur gebrochen sinnvoll \u00fcber ein F\u00f6rderband transportiert werden, das hei\u00dft, wir h\u00e4tten im Steinbruch Hengen-Nord einen mobilen Brecher vorsehen m\u00fcssen. Das Brechen der Steine ist mit L\u00e4rm verbunden. Wir haben daher nach einer ger\u00e4usch\u00e4rmeren Alternative gesucht.  <\/span><\/div>\n

F\u00fcr den Transport der \u00fcberlagernden Erdmassen, m\u00fcssen wir jedenfalls eine Werksstra\u00dfe anlegen, da dieser Abraum zur sukzessiven Verf\u00fcllung des Steinbruchs Schneelsberg Nordost sinnvoll nur per Lkw erfolgen kann. Somit ist die Erstellung der Werkstra\u00dfe so oder so erforderlich. Weder der Transport des Abraums noch der sp\u00e4tere Transport der Kalksteine erfolgt \u00fcber \u00f6ffentliche Stra\u00dfen.<\/span><\/div>\n

Beim sp\u00e4teren Aufladen der Kalksteine auf Schwerkraftwagen<\/span> werden wir darauf achten, dass deren Mulden mit Gummib\u00f6den ausgestattet sind, sodass die L\u00e4rmentwicklung bei der Beladung m\u00f6glichst geringgehalten werden kann. Wir hoffen, damit den Anwohnern weitest m\u00f6glich entgegenzukommen.<\/span><\/div>\n

Die von uns eingesetzten SKW entsprechen dem neuesten Stand der Technik. Ber\u00fchrungspunkte mit \u00f6ffentlichen Wegen sichern wir in bew\u00e4hrter Weise, z.B. durch eine Ampelanlage.

Ohne den Aufschluss des Steinbruchs wird das Werk in einigen Jahren \u2013 wenn die Vorr\u00e4te im Steinbruch Schneelsberg NO abgebaut sind \u2013 \u202fgeschlossen werden m\u00fcssen. Eine Versorgung mit Kalkstein aus unserem Werk in Hahnst\u00e4tten w\u00e4re langfristig weder wirtschaftlich noch \u00f6kologisch sinnvoll.<\/p>\n

Aus dem Werk Steeden werden Gro\u00dfabnehmer der chemischen und der Stahlindustrie \u00fcber die Schiene versorgt, aber auch Kunden der regionalen Baustoffindustrie, die auf die Kalkqualit\u00e4ten aus den Steedener Brenn\u00f6fen angewiesen sind.<\/p>\n

Mit der Schlie\u00dfung des Werkes in Steeden w\u00fcrden die dortigen 87 Arbeitspl\u00e4tze direkt, aber auch weitere Positionen in Zentralabteilungen unseres Unternehmens sowie solche, die unmittelbar mit dem Werk in Steeden zusammenh\u00e4ngen, z.\u202fB. bei Dienstleistern, Handwerksbetrieben und Zulieferern, verloren gehen. Gerade im l\u00e4ndlichen Raum stehen Arbeitspl\u00e4tze auch immer f\u00fcr die Sicherung und Verbesserung von Infrastruktur.<\/p>\n

Kalk ist als Rohstoff in unterschiedlichsten Anwendungen unersetzlich. Mit dem Abbau hier vor Ort sichern wir nicht nur zahlreiche Arbeitspl\u00e4tze in der Region. Wir stellen auch sicher, dass der Rohstoffabbau regional und damit unter bestm\u00f6glichen Arbeits- und Unfallschutzbedingungen stattfindet. Kurze Transportwege und ressourcenschonender Abbau tragen zudem dazu bei, Transportwege und damit verbundene Emissionen so gering wie m\u00f6glich zu halten. Mit regionalem Abbau stellen wir die Versorgung mit Kalk bei uns im Land sicher und wirken \u00e4u\u00dferen St\u00f6rungen, wie beispielsweise abrei\u00dfenden Lieferketten, entgegen.

Der Steinbruch Hengen-Nord wird eine Gesamtabbaufl\u00e4che von 16,1 ha haben. Die Tiefe, von der Steinbruchkante aus gesehen, betr\u00e4gt an seiner flachsten Stelle im Norden 55 m und im S\u00fcden 47 m. Der Steinbruchrand wird mit ca. 1.500\u202fm Hecken umpflanzt und mit den bestehenden 200\u202fm Hecke, die erhalten bleiben, mit dem Wald verbunden. Hinzu kommen ca. 7 ha\u202fAusgleichsfl\u00e4chen, die als extensives Weideland genutzt werden, und 3 ha Waldfl\u00e4che mit Teichen. .<\/p>\n

Wir wissen \u2013 genauso wie Sie \u2013, dass ein Steinbruch nicht ger\u00e4uschlos betrieben werden kann. Die Hauptger\u00e4uschquellen (neben den Sprengungen) sind das Verladen der gewonnenen Steine auf Schwerlastkraftwagen sowie der Transport zur Aufbereitung. Das f\u00fcr den Aufschluss auf Hengen erstellte L\u00e4rmgutachten<\/strong> best\u00e4tigt, dass die wahrnehmbaren Ger\u00e4usche in allen umliegenden Ortschaften, selbst im Hauptbetrieb, deutlich unterhalb der gesetzlichen Grenzwerte bleiben werden.<\/p>\n

Das werden wir tun, um die L\u00e4rmbeeintr\u00e4chtigung gering zu halten:<\/p>\n

  1. Wir werden vor Ort im Steinbruch keinen mobilen Brecher <\/strong>einsetzen! Das Zerkleinern wird wie bisher erst in der bestehenden Aufbereitung durchgef\u00fchrt.<\/li>\n
  2. Wir werden f\u00fcr den Abtransport Schwerlastkraftwagen einsetzen, deren Mulden mit Gummib\u00f6den <\/strong>ausgestattet sind. Dadurch reduziert sich die Ger\u00e4uschentwicklung beim Aufladen der Steine deutlich. (Diese Ma\u00dfnahme ist im Gutachten noch nicht ber\u00fccksichtigt.) <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Wie entsteht Staub sonst noch?<\/p>\n

    1. Vor allem bei trockenem Wetter kann loses Material durch die Transportfahrzeuge von der Fahrbahn aufgewirbelt werden. Bei wenig Wind ist das kein Problem. Der Staub f\u00e4llt dann wieder dort herunter, wo er aufgewirbelt wurde.<\/li>\n
    2. An trockenen und windigen Tagen kann Staub aufgewirbelt werden. Wir sehen am bestehenden Steinbruch, dass die entstehenden St\u00e4ube nicht \u00fcber gr\u00f6\u00dfere Distanzen verschleppt werden. Dennoch werden wir mit der Gestaltung und dem Betrieb der Fahrstra\u00dfe <\/strong>zwischen Steinbruch und Aufbereitung einer m\u00f6glichen Staubentwicklung entgegenwirken. Die Fahrbahn wird kontinuierlich instand gehalten und insbesondere bei Trockenheit bew\u00e4ssert.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Trotz dieser Ma\u00dfnahmen werden wir Staubemissionen nicht vollst\u00e4ndig verhindern k\u00f6nnen. Vorliegende Gutachten erbringen den Nachweis, dass die verbleibenden Emissionen weit unterhalb der gesundheitlichen Grenzwerte liegen. F\u00fcr die besonders sensible Kategorie Feinstaub (Schwebstaub) wurden umfangreiche Untersuchungen in Steinbr\u00fcchen der Kalkindustrie durchgef\u00fchrt. Auch hier bleibt festzustellen, dass gesetzliche Grenzwerte nicht verletzt werden.

        1. Die Sprengungen f\u00fchren nicht zu Sch\u00e4den an Geb\u00e4uden <\/strong>\u2013 das zeigen die Erfahrungen aus vielen Jahren Abbau an anderen Standorten. Im Rahmen von Beweissicherungsverfahren und kontinuierlicher Beobachtung von Geb\u00e4uden in n\u00e4chster N\u00e4he zu unserem Steinbruch in Hahnst\u00e4tten konnten keine Geb\u00e4udesch\u00e4den durch Sprengungen beobachtet werden. Die Distanzen zum Steinbruch Hengen-Nord werden deutlich gr\u00f6\u00dfer sein und somit auch eine m\u00f6gliche Wahrnehmung erheblich reduziert.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Besonderes Augenmerk bedarf der Altbergbau in Schupbach und Umgebung. Gutachterliche Aussagen zu Untersuchungen in vergleichbaren Gebieten und auch unsere eigenen Erfahrungen aus dem Gebiet Schneelsberg Nordost, in dessen Umfeld ebenfalls vielfach Bergbau betrieben wurde, haben ergeben, dass keine Gefahr f\u00fcr Sprengsch\u00e4den<\/strong> f\u00fcr die Wohnbebauung zu erwarten ist. Die seit \u00fcber 150 Jahren stillgelegten Stollen sind, weil sie im weichen Ton gebaut wurden, aufgrund des Gewichts der dar\u00fcber liegenden Sedimente (ca. 20t\/m\u00b2) schon seit \u00fcber 100 Jahren zugedr\u00fcckt. Die Sch\u00e4chte, die als Zug\u00e4nge zu den Stollen dienten, hatten einen Durchmesser von ca. 1,5m und waren 15 bis 20 m tief. Sie wurden nach Beendigung der Erzgewinnung mit Aushub verf\u00fcllt. Dieses Material hat sich \u00fcber die Jahre verdichtet. Anfangs m\u00f6gliche kleinfl\u00e4chige Setzungen sind abgeschlossen. Sprengungen in \u00fcber 700 m Entfernung haben keinen Einfluss auf dieses Gebiet, das schon lange zur Ruhe gekommen ist.<\/strong> Ein Beleg hierf\u00fcr ist sicherlich auch, dass es trotz zahlreicher Bauarbeiten und den damit verbundenen Ersch\u00fctterungen in den letzten Jahrzehnten hierdurch noch nie zu Setzungen oder gar Sch\u00e4den an Geb\u00e4uden gekommen ist. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              2. Wir greifen mit dem Steinbruch Hengen-Nord an keiner Stelle in das Grundwasser ein. Der Abbau erfolgt vollumf\u00e4nglich deutlich oberhalb des Grundwasserspiegels. Weitere Grundwassermessstellen werden vor Abbaubeginn zum Monitoring eingerichtet. .<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Dieser Blick wird allerdings zu gro\u00dfen Teilen durch bereits bestehende B\u00e4ume und Str\u00e4ucher gepr\u00e4gt. Das grunds\u00e4tzliche Landschaftsbild wird kaum ver\u00e4ndert.<\/p>\n

Eine sp\u00e4tere ausschlie\u00dflich externe Versorgung des Werks Steeden mit Kalksteinen z. B. aus unserem Werk Hahnst\u00e4tten ist weder wirtschaftlich noch \u00f6kologisch sinnvoll. In der n\u00e4heren Umgebung sind keine abbauw\u00fcrdigen Kalksteinvorkommen bekannt.<\/p>\n

                Zus\u00e4tzlich werden Warnschilder darauf hinweisen. Da die Fahrzeuge nicht besonders schnell sind, d\u00fcrfte die Querung gefahrlos m\u00f6glich sein. Nachts, an Wochenenden sowie Feiertagen finden in der Regel keine Transporte statt.<\/p>\n
